Department of Statistics offering Under Graduate program was started in 2014-15 .Statistics is all around us and is involved in everything. We do need and interact within all everyday lives.
Considered as a part and parcel of all sciences and core of research, Statistics is essential to understand basic concepts and applications in various Industrial fields.
Statistical Modeling and Inference, and Statistical Process Control and Optimization have remained the research thrust areas of the Department.
