Department of Chemistry offering Under Graduate program was started in 2014-15 and Post Graduate Program in Analytical chemistry in 2021-22 Department of Chemistry has qualified faculty members.
Chemistry is all around us and is involved in everything. We do need and interact within all everyday lives considered as a mother of all sciences and core of research, chemistry is essential to understand basic concepts and applications in various fields.
We know the fact that the prosperity and progress of faculty depends on the fundamental facilities. Our faculty member always tried their level best for all round development of department. We have fundamental facilities such as well equipped laboratories, drainage. We offered other program like additional 10 credit courses for PG students, human rights and value education, internet cyber security, skill development program
Innovative curricular and extracurricular activities such as seminars, guest lecturers were conducted successfully. all these programs have added a great value to our teaching and program.
Innovative practice of chemistry department is soil testing is done in our laboratory by our students and gave the reports to the farmer, also various activities like study tour ,quiz competition, work shop on preparation of sanitizer is done by department successfully in covid- 19 situation.
